About Ultimate Wallcovering

    My Name is Gary Bate I started as an apprentice paperhanger in 1983 working for a company that specialized in residential  and Model homes, after one year I started my own company : "Wallpaper by Gary". In 2002, I changed the name of the company to "Ultimate Wallcovering"

While we offer many services the main focus of my business is custom residential.  Over the years we have built up a long list of loyal clients by providing top craftsmanship, reasonable prices and excellent service. 

    I have lived in southern Orange County since 1969. I attended Laguna Beach High School and Orange Coast College. I took course's in architectural drafting, construction and art.

  I'm recently married and blessed with 4 children and one grandson. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, snowboarding and spending time with my family, and don't forget

that never ending list of "honey-do's "!

    I would love the opportunity to brighten your walls and change your house into your home.

Price Perspective

It's unwise to pay too much,
but it's worse to pay too little.
   When you pay to much,
you lose a little money ... that is all.
   When you pay too little,
you sometimes lose everything
 because the thing you bought
     was incapable of doing
  the thing it was bought to do.
The common law of business balance
prohibits paying a little and getting a lot...
                 it can't be done.
   If you deal with the lowest bidder,
it is well to add something for the risk you run,
  and if you do that you will have enough
    to pay for something better.
